ROUTE DETAILS MAY 2019

21st   Arrive in Thurso

22nd  Maxi Day Tour Orkney Ferry.

23rd  Unfortunately due to weather decided to go to the Castle of Mey. Went to Dunnet Head (the most northerly point of the UK mainland) Then to the Red Rock Distillery in Dunnet. (https://www.dunnetbaydistillers.co.uk)

24th  Holborn Head round walk then will be taken to Strathy Inn and walk to the Strathy Point Lighthouse. Unfortunately due to weather Holborn Head walk was cancelled.

25th  Taken to a Public Footpath near the Kirtomy Junction, then walked up the track to a Mast then proceeded down to Kirtomy then continued to Bettyhill Hotel.

26th 

27th  2 members returned home. The remaining 2 continued to walk to Durness.

28th  Taken to Kinlochbervie, then walk to Sandwood Bay.
